Wednesday, April 2nd

1:00-5:00pm Pre-Symposium Workshop: Introduction to Green Roof Design and Installation ($50)

  • Join Andy Creath, from Green Roofs of Colorado, LLC, for this exciting workshop brought to you by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. Approval for continuing education (professional development) hours for AIA, LEED, and ASLA professionals pending.

5:00-6:30pm Dinner on your own

6:30-9:00pm Poker Tournament in the Sky Room ($25, optional)

  • First prize in the poker tournament will be a pair of tickets to see Merle Haggard in concert at the Joint at the Hard Rock on the evening of Thursday, April 3 after the Finals Event. All entry fees over cost will be returned as prizes.

    • 3:00: Student Design Competition Introduction: The Owasso Sports Park, Tim Doyle, City of Owasso, Owasso, OK
    • 3:15: Student Design Competition Presentations, judged by guest jury panel

4:00-5:30pm Green Country LID Design Competition Gala and Symposium Reception ($35 at the door for the Gala and Finals Event for those not attending the Symposium)  (Sequoyah III and IV)

  • The Gala and Reception will take place in the same room as the vendors and student posters. Heavy hor d'oeuvres and drinks will be served, with two drink tickets per person included. This event is situated to maximize interaction between attendees, students, and vendors.

5:30-7:30pm Green Country LID Design Competition Final Presentations and Awards Ceremony (Sequoyah V)

Special Guest Master of Ceremonies: Meagan Farley, Weekend Anchor/Reporter, KOTV, News on 6 in Tulsa

  • The Finals Presentation and Awards Ceremony for the Green Country LID Design Competition will be the grand finale of our Thursday activities. Come see design teams battle it out in front of an all-star jury for three $10,000 prizes!


Friday, April 4th

9:00-11:00am Golf Tournament at the Cherokee Hills Golf Course at the Hard Rock ($50 for 18 holes, optional; see Attractions)

  • Join us for a morning of fun and networking disguised as a golf tournament! Who are the best golfers--engineers, landscape architects, or architects?
