Andy Creath, Green Roofs of Colorado
Andy Creath is an entrepreneur in the environmental and sustainability fields. He founded Green Roofs of Colorado, a green roof design, installation, maintenance, and consultation company in 2006. Premier installations include Denver Botanic Gardens, Clyfford Still Museum, and Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. He is a board member for the Green Infrastructure Foundation, which was founded in 2007 to respond to the need for greater awareness and resources to promote green infrastructure in local communities. He Co-chairs the Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Maintenance committee, and was integral in writing the maintenance course which is a required course for the Green Roof Professional Designation. He worked for four years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a program analyst within the Office of the Inspector General. Andy has a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver, received a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Aspects of Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Green Building Certificate from Colorado State University.
